Acolytes

Youth in grades 6 - 12 are welcome to become acolytes, providing a ministry of service to the clergy during worship. Acolytes assist in lighting altar candles, carrying the torches and cross, presenting offertory plates to the ushers, assisting with communion preparation and, at special services when incense is used, handling the thurible. Typically, acolytes are scheduled to serve once a month.
