Saint Andrew's goes to the animals! | THAT WAS YUMMY: A giraffe is delighted to get a treat from Donna Catalano, who journeyed to the San Diego Zoo with the other members of the Social Group on July 18th.

In July, Saint Andrew’s Social Group visited the San Diego Zoo. It is one of the largest zoos in the world and we live so close! We had a great day visiting the mammals, birds, and reptiles, but especially the pandas and giraffes. We even got to feed them!

In August, we saw “The Creation” at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove. It was wonderful. My personal opinion is that it tops the “Glory of Christmas” and the “Glory of Easter” performances. It combines computer technology, air and ground dancers, singers, actors, life size animal puppetry, and sensory special effects. It really is a “must see.”

I hope more people join us for these great events. They are fun and its great to “hang out” with friends from church.
