‘Mi Amore’ Fundraising Chair

Under twinkling stars and with perfect evening weather, Saint Andrew’s members enjoyed a special night out on Oct. 14, 2005. At “Mi Amore, Saint Andrew’s,” fellowship and fundraising took precedence while guests nibbled on delicious appetizers and mingled among the creative and eye-catching silent auction baskets. The courtyard outside Antonello Ristorante was the perfect setting to start off an unforgettable evening.

After last-minute bidding by eager guests, a gourmet Italian dinner was served in the restaurant’s beautiful banquet room. Master of Ceremonies Brian Campbell kept the evening rolling with his speaking talents and perfect timing. The highlight of the evening was the live auction of “A Day of Golf with Peter” at the Strawberry Farms Golf Clubs. Lucky (and generous!) bidders were Alonza Cruse, Tom Pietryga, and Brian Campbell. Peter can’t wait to schedule the tee time!

With ticket sales and auction proceeds, $7,100 was raised to benefit “Restore and Revive the Sanctuary.” Later, a congregation member donated an additional $2,000 to increase our fundraising total to over $9,000. We are blessed and fortunate to have such a generous donation.
