Fair is the moonlight, fairer still the sunshine... We’ve moved our annual Earth Day “Mass on the Grass” celebration to June 25, the better to avoid the rain that moved us inside last year. On this morning, the 10 a.m. service moves outdoors to celebrate the beauty of the natural world with special music, readings and liturgy—for the heavens indeed are telling the glory of God, as a hymn that we usually sing at this service reminds us. The worship space itself will be filled with flowers from our own gardens, so please bring an armful of your favorite blossoms along with lawn chairs, umbrellas, and sunscreen.

A potluck picnic lunch follows, so everyone is invited to put on play clothes and bring something to share. There’s a sign-up sheet for the potluck in the North Room too. Friends and neighbors are welcome to share this event with us!
