ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
Committee Formed for ‘Pennies’

I am very pleased to announce that we have identified our core committee members for the 1999 Pennies From Heaven Auction. The members are: Virginia Burghardt, Pua & Keong Jung, Sandi Kelley, Tom Olson, Maureen & Tom Pietryga, Teri Poythress, Pati & John Rodrigues, Cheri Tomcheck, Amy Van Dell and Kecia VanMechelen. Please join me in giving these wonderful people a big thank you in volunteering their time and talents.

Our tentative plans for this year’s gala event is to have the auction coincide with the 25-year anniversary celebration of Saint Andrew’s of Irvine founding. The tentative date is Saturday evening, Sept. 18.

As you may know, all proceeds go to support our outreach programs, such as ESA (Episcopal Service Alliance), Habitat for Humanity, Friends Forward, World Wide Bishop’s Fund, and the Heifer Project to name a few.

As our plans progress, we will update you regularly with information that will allow everyone to participate. In the near future we will be requesting members of the congregation to think about donations of goods and services that they may make for the auction. Donations from the congregation add a special touch to the event. Please begin considering how you can help.
